Diary Week 5

This week I have changed my whole idea for my magazine. I decided to make up a brand new artist instead of doing Beyonce, because I realised it would not look realistic to do an artist who looks nothing like my model. I used the same photographs for the draft because I couldn’t get new photos straight away, but I changed the article on my double page spread and text in the contents page and on the front cover. I looked through some Q articles for some inspiration for my double page spread article and decided to write it in a similar style. My Beyonce article was written in a simple format of questions in bold and answers underneath, however, for my new article, I wrote it as if documenting the whole meeting with the artist in a more complex way. I read an interview about Las Vegas in an issue of Q magazine and I decided to base my own article on Las Vegas and New York, suggesting my artist found inspiration for music from those two cities.
